ip.access is named a Red Herring 100 Global award winner

ip.access is one of 100 winners for the first-time Red Herring 100 Global award selected by the Red Herring editorial team from 1800 companies from North America, Europe and Asia already chosen as Red Herring Regional 100 finalists of the last three years. Judges evaluated each company using a number of quantitative and qualitative criteria, including financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy, and ecosystem integration.

Winning the Red Herring 100 Global award means that ip.access has achieved a remarkable “five in a row” for business and technology awards during 2007. At the 3GSM World Congress in February, ip.access took home a Global Mobile award for its Oyster 3G™ femtocell. In September, the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 placed ip.access at 52 in its annual list of the 100 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK. In addition, last month ip.access picked up another two awards for the Oyster 3G – Light Reading’s “Leading Light” Award for “Best New Product from a Private Company”, and also the World Communication Award for ‘Best Technology Foresight’.

Interestingly, the Airave is not yet available in Dallas (only in Denver, Indianapolis & Nashville, I believe).
